The 2010 Sponsor and Patrons' Reception will be held at the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center on the Appalachian State University campus on Friday evening July 9th. This increasingly popular event gives the patrons and sponsors an opportunity to meet Grandfather Mountain Highland Games honored and distinguished guests.

The Reception will start at 6:00 p.m., with complementary refreshments tables and bars set up in several rooms connecting to the ballroom. The band will play from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A cash bar will be available from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Long-time friend of the Games and ever-popular baratone, Alex Beaton, will once again be the master of ceremonies and address the haggis at approximately 6:30 p.m. The Grandfather Mountain Highlanders Pipe Band will perform during the course of the evening.
